Liverpool Star Reveals Why He Voted Vinicius As The Best

Liverpool talisman, Mohamed Salah has reportedly revealed the reason Vinicius Junior had his vote in the 2024 FIFA The Best award.

For the Real Madrid superstar, 2024 was a very significant year on many levels.

Although the young Brazilian’s Ballon d’Or snub in the last minute may have caused him to have a low period, the remainder of the year was quite outstanding.

After all, the Brazil international solidified his status as one of the world’s best players by leading Real Madrid to both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League, and even helping the team up despite a relatively dismal start to the new campaign.

According to Madrid Universal, when questioned recently in a media appearance why he chose Vinicius as his best player for FIFA’s Best Awards, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah responded unmoved.

“Vinicius Junior is a very good player, that’s why he’s getting better every year and I hope he continues. I voted for him because he deserves it,” said the Egyptian (RM4 Arab)

Salah was asked the question in part because he chose the La Liga player over Premier League star, Rodri, who won the Ballon d’Or.

Vinicius was rightfully awarded FIFA’s Best Men’s Player at the conclusion of last year. He also won the Globe Soccer Awards’ similar prize, even though France Football did not name him the winner.
