Liverpool are reportedly one of several clubs interested in the signing of Hoffenheim winger Maximilian Beier ahead of the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old has drawn attention in the Bundesliga with his incredible speed, versatility as a front-line player, and outstanding goal scoring start to the season.
A few months ago, SportBILD reporter, Christian Falk first revealed Liverpool’s interest. The same information has since been reported by Sky Germany.
According to the publication as cited by Liverpool World, several clubs are on high alert following the disclosure that Beier has a €30 million release clause in the summer. It was even stated that there is a plan for Beier to leave Hoffenheim in the summer.
At present, Brentford have also been mentioned as a possible destination. But the player’s primary objective is to be called up to the senior German national team for the Euro 2024 tournament in the summer.
The attacker has had a breakthrough season this year, scoring six goals and dishing out four assists in 13 league games.
This represents a significant improvement over his seven goals during the 2.Bundesliga campaign last year. The youngster managed a hat-trick of assists in an outstanding 3-2 victory against Stuttgart at the end of October.

In addition, the winger’s rapid pace has drawn attention. At 35.45 kmph, he is currently the 10th fastest player in the Bundesliga, trailing only Leroy Sane (35.82 kmph) and Alphonso Davies (35.97 kmph), two of the fastest players in the division.
Beier is a top prospect who is currently dominating the Bundesliga and, should he keep up this pace, he will undoubtedly earn a move away.
