Liverpool v Tottenham team news

Liverpool full-backs Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are expected to be fit for Sunday’s Premier League visit of Tottenham to Anfield. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp revealed that Robertson picked up a knock during the 4-1 win at Genk in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
But the Scotland international left-back has returned to training with no ill-effects and “is fine” to feature against the north Londoners.
Right-back Alexander-Arnold is also in the frame to make his comeback against Mauricio Pochettino’s men having not travelled to Belgium in the week due to illness.
Switzerland international star Xherdan Shaqiri was also absent at Genk because of a calf injury but Klopp confirmed his problem will take longer to heal.
Klopp also laughed off claims he is facing a selection headache after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s impressive brace in the Champions League at Genk.
He said: “He’s had a big impact. It’s no secret how much I like him as a person and a player. His second goal, especially, was incredible. I didn’t see one like this for a long time, if ever. It was a really special moment. “So it’s all good – no headache, just a bigger number of players to choose from.”
Adam Lallana and Naby Keita were also singled out for praise by the German tactician for the impact they had when coming off the bench to help Liverpool secure a point in last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Manchester United.
Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is the only absentee for Tottenham, who impressed in a 5-0 thrashing of Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League in midweek.
Spurs go into the game with just one league win in their last four and were held to a 1-1 draw by lowly Watford last week. They could have Ryan Sessegnon available to make his debut after he joined from Fulham in the summer.
