Liverpool are reportedly considering a summer transfer move for already relegated Southampton midfielder, Romeo Lavia.
According to Goal, the 19-year-old is being monitored by the Reds as they consider him for the forthcoming transfer window.
Despite the Saints’ relegation to the Championship, the midfielder has received high praise for his tremendous efforts with the team this season.
The teenager has already been linked to a number of prestigious clubs. With Liverpool now appearing as a possible next stop for Lavia.
Lavia moved to the St. Mary’s in the summer of 2022 from Manchester City for a reported fee of £10 million. Since then, he has established himself as a reliable member of the squad.
The Belgian has played in 28 league games for the squad that is now rock bottom in the Premier League standings.
This weekend, Southampton’s final opponents in the top division will be Liverpool, who will undoubtedly be watching Lavia closely as they consider a possible transfer for the promising teenager.
Lavia is being evaluated as a potential player to join the Liverpool squad. As Jurgen Klopp plans to rework his midfield options for the upcoming campaign.
Although, Alexis Mac Allister and Mason Mount are also top priorities for the Merseyside club. It is believed that Lavia has gained a lot of admirers at Anfield thanks to his efforts this season.

Liverpool could face competition from Man City, who have a £40 million buy-back clause on the player they sold last summer.
Can Romeo Lavia Be A Wonderful Addition To Liverpool?
It makes reasonable sense that Lavia is drawing this much attention because he had a standout season in a team that otherwise isn’t very good.
With his little experience in the English top-flight, he would be a risky addition to a Liverpool-sized team at this time.
