Liverpool are reportedly prioritizing a move for Brighton and Hove Albion forward, Joao Pedro ahead of the next summer transfer window.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL as reported by the Hard Tackle, Pedro is the subject of interest from Liverpool. The Reds are exploring the transfer market for a versatile forward amid uncertainties around Mohamed Salah’s long-term future at the club.
So, the Brighton attacker has emerged as their priority target, with Manchester United also pondering a move for the Brazilian star.
Pedro has been one of the best young talents in the Premier League since joining the Seagulls from Watford in a deal around €35 million in July 2023.

A native of Ribeirao Preto, the South American forward spent his early years in Brazil and graduated from the youth division at Fluminense.
However, the 23-year-old rose in rank during his stint with Watford, spending three years with the Hornets. Pedro’s stock has increased in the last 18 months, even though fitness issues have had its toll on him throughout his spell with the Brighton.
The youngster has still managed a respectable tally of four goals and three assists in nine Premier League appearances.
Meanwhile, Pedro’s displays have not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several notable clubs across Europe. A move across the Premier League might be possible, with Liverpool and Manchester United believed to be fighting for his services.
