French outfit Olympique Lyon have entered the race to sign American star Christian Pulisic, with a £21 million offer for the Chelsea forward this summer.
After finalizing the contract to acquire Ruben Loftus-Cheek earlier in the week, Milan made a £12 million offer for Pulisic over the weekend.
The Italian team and Chelsea have a solid working relationship. Deals involving Giroud and Tomori in the past are said to have improved things.
However, Lyon’s most recent offer is substantially better than what Milan are prepared to spend. Making a move to France more feasible for Pulisic right now.
According to London World, the player will likely prefer to sign with the Italian team, who won the league a few seasons ago and had a strong Champions League run last time out. But Chelsea and Pulisic both need to understand the figures.
Despite arriving at Stamford Bridge from Borussia Dortmund with a ton of promise. The 25-year-old has scored 26 goals in 145 games for the Blues in an incredibly disappointing four years.
