Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire has claimed the Red Devils have found their own Jude Bellingham in the person of Kobbie Mainoo.
Mainoo, 18, has emerged brilliantly for United and received his first senior Three Lions call-up. This is after a brilliant FA Cup performance against Liverpool. Mainoo was given a standing ovation when he was substituted 80 minutes after showcasing his midfield skills against one of the competition’s favorites.
With more than 60 caps for England, Maguire showered his club and current international colleague with praise. Predicting that the starlet will be traveling to Germany with the Euros squad and drawing comparisons between him and Jude Bellingham.
Mainoo has made a significant impact at United despite only making his first Premier League start in November. According to Manchester Evening News, Maguire is confident that the academy product is ready and won’t be afraid going into the tournament.
“I don’t see why not,” said Maguire. “To play at a major tournament, obviously, it’s big to have experience but also the young boys do come in and sometimes they play with no fear and they can excel in that way.

”I don’t have any concerns whatsoever. It’s incredible he’s (only) 18, he’s so mature. He’s a bit like Jude was when he was a young boy. He’s got a mature head on his shoulders. I had no concerns.
“Listen, we have a lot of good centre-mids in this country at the moment, a lot of players who have been there and done it, and shown that they can do it in the big, major tournaments. He’ll keep working hard, I’m sure he will, because he’s a great lad.”
