Manchester City legendary striker, Sergio Aguero has warned Bayern Munich to be wary of City forward, Erling Haaland ahead of their huge clash in the UEFA Champions League.
In the opening leg of their quarterfinal match, City will play Bayern at the Etihad on Tuesday night. The two teams are still considered heavy favorites to win the tournament.
Both sides are still unbeaten in Europe this year. With the Bundesliga’s top team winning all eight of their contests and eliminating PSG and Barcelona in the process.
Both contests are expected to be thrilling and evenly matched. City legend Sergio Aguero is predictably rooting for Pep Guardiola’s team to advance.
‘It will be some tie, very interesting to watch, Aguero told Stake.com.
‘It will undoubtedly be a high-octane bracket. Two great teams facing each other – the draw willed it to be a quarter final, but this could easily have been a semi final, or even a final.
Leading the attack is Haaland, who has scored an incredible 44 goals in 38 games this season including 10 in six Champions League games. Five of which came in the most recent contest against RB Leipzig.

What Did Aguero Say About Haaland?
Bayern is well aware of the danger posed by the Norwegian striker thanks to his time spent at Borussia Dortmund. But Aguero has cautioned Thomas Tuchel’s team against focusing too much on the 22-year-old.
‘They [Bayern] know Haaland well enough in Germany, and they know what he can do. None of this should come as a big surprise to them.
‘The main difference is that he’s in a team like City now – which has a great offensive playing style with many possible variations. They need to figure out how to stop the whole team, not just Haaland.’
