Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly aiming to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to replace Sergio Aguero.
Guardiola has arrived at Man City with plenty of ambition and he’s set his stall out early in terms of the future he has planned for several players.
Joe Hart was his first big casualty as the Englishman was shipped out on loan to Torino while Yaya Toure has not played a single minute of action in the Premier League either.
According to the Daily Express, Guardiola is now keen on replacing Aguero with Aubameyang as Man City prepare a £58 million offer to prise the Bundesliga hitman away from Dortmund.
The striker has been on fire for Thomas Tuchel’s side over the past couple of years and has started the new season superbly as well.
Aubameyang has scored seven goals in as many games so far this season which follows the 25 he managed in the German top flight last term.
In his overall goal tally last season, Aubameyang scored 39 goals in all competitions.
