Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly among suitors interested in Bayer Leverkusen wing-back, Jeremie Frimpong ahead of the summer transfer window.
This season, the Netherlands international has proven to be one of the best full-backs in Europe. Helping Leverkusen proceed unbeaten and establish a commanding lead at the top of the Bundesliga table.
Numerous prominent teams will undoubtedly be interested in Frimpong. According to the Sun as reported by Caught Offside, United and City are among the teams expressing strong interest in the 23-year-old, who has a £35 million release clause this summer.
According to the report, Frimpong is viewed by City as the perfect long-term replacement for veteran defender Kyle Walker.
United, on the other hand, would undoubtedly want to prevail in the competition to sign him. This is because they view him as a significant improvement over both Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Frimpong is undoubtedly a gifted player, especially up front. This is evidenced by his incredible 11 goals and 7 assists across all competitions this season.

While it would be thrilling to see Frimpong play for one of the major English clubs. It wouldn’t be shocking if he thought he could stay at Leverkusen for a little while longer given the team’s evident progress under Xabi Alonso.
