Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are reportedly prioritizing the potential signing of Manchester City forward, Julian Alvarez in the summer transfer window.
According to some reports, Saudi clubs are interested in Robert Lewandowski. Even though the Poland international is unwilling to leave Barcelona, the Catalan outfit can be persuaded otherwise by a huge offer.
If not, it will be challenging for the La Liga side to offer the City more than €100 million for the player.
PSG had previously prepared a deal for Napoli star, Victor Osimhen after Kylian Mbappe’s high-profile departure. But since then, the negotiations have not advanced.
Head coach Luis Enrique has given the go-ahead to a move for Alvarez in the interim. PSG and the Sky Blues have now held discussions.
The 24-year-old, who was formerly linked to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, is still a crucial member of Pep Guardiola’s team at City. For this reason, CaughtOffside reported that City will not entertain any bids for the attacker in the current window and that they do not intend to sell him.
The World Cup winner won’t prioritise leaving the Manchester-based club unless he gets a compelling offer. This would be alluring if PSG give a solid contract and adequate playing time.

It would be interesting to see if Alvarez will have his head turned by the prospects of regular first-team football which he is obviously being starved of at the Etihad.
City are already anticipating some players to leave the club. Most notable is goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, who has been touted for a move to the Saudi Pro League.
