Man United Agree Personal Terms With Mazraoui

Manchester United have reportedly agreed terms with Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui ahead of a possible switch to Old Trafford this summer.

According to reports, the move though, depends on if United were able to find Aaron Wan-Bissaka another club before the end of the summer transfer window.

Mazraoui was on the verge of signing a contract with West Ham. But it fell through after the Hammers agreed to a deal up to £15 million, with an upfront payment of £12.6 million and the remaining amount to come via add-ons.

According to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, there are “no issues” about an agreement between Bayern and United. As the Red Devils and Mazraoui have already agreed on personal terms for a move to Old Trafford.

According to The Guardian, both clubs have already agreed on a sum of between £15 million and £20 million, but Wan-Bissaka’s departure is a condition of the transfer. West Ham have turned to Wan-Bissaka after their attempt to recruit Mazraoui failed.

The Guardian claims Hammers are “intent” on signing the former Crystal Palace defender. But an acceptable sum must be negotiated with United. Wan-Bissaka’s contract is set to expire, but a 12-month extension was activated in January.

United paid over £45 million for him from Palace in the summer of 2019. But the Red Devils are apparently willing to let him go for just a third of that amount.

Ten Hag and Mazraoui have worked together at Ajax, so they are well acquainted. Prior to joining Bayern in 2022, Mazraoui made 137 appearances for the Dutch outfit.
