Manchester United are reportedly attempting a move to hijack Tottenham Hotspur’s deal with Bayern Munich for Mathys Tel.
United recorded a 2-0 victory over FCSB in the UEFA Europa League to end the league phase in style following a poor start.
With their tight 1-0 victory over Fulham over the weekend, the Red Devils moved up to 12th in the table, further solidifying their awful Premier League season.
With just five Premier League teams scoring less goals than them this season, their forward line has been the target of many criticisms.

Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund, and Marcus Rashford have all received criticism. United are now looking to add an attacker before the transfer window closes.
With the Bayern Munich star available, Man Utd, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Aston Villa have all looked into possible moves for Tel this month.
According to reports in France, Tottenham have reached an agreement worth approximately £50 million for Tel’s permanent transfer, making them the team in the lead to sign the France Under-21 international.
According to Sky Germany as reported by Football 365, United “held new talks” about a possible transfer for Tel last night before the deadline.
Furthermore, the report has now assert that the Red Devils “remain locked in talks with Bayern Munich in hopes of hijacking” Tel’s possible transfer to Spurs.
