Manchester United are already weighing other options as it seems likely Tottenham Hotspur are not willing to sell Harry Kane this summer.
According to Manchester Evening News, United are actively looking at alternative options, they have not given up on Kane because Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has said he won’t be sold.
Kane, 29, effectively announced his desire to leave Spurs two years ago in a renown interview with Gary Neville. If he is to orchestrate a move away from Spurs, he may need to stir things up once more.
Kane’s contract is about to expire. And if Spurs finish eighth in the Premier League, they would miss out on playing in any European competition the following season.
Two months after Antonio Conte was fired, Tottenham are still without a manager and are anticipated to contact Ange Postecoglou, the head coach of Celtic.
Levy’s former employee claimed United would have to “kill him” in order to sign Kane.
When Levy turned down a £100 million offer from Manchester City in August 2021, Kane and his brother Charlie, who served as his agent, were unable to make an impression. Kane ultimately stated that he would remain with Spurs.
Kane earlier this season broke the record for the most goals scored at Tottenham. And the England captain pledged he “wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize the relationship I have with the fans.”

In the midst of this, Man United have identified other targets. Napoli talisman, Victor Osimhen is considered as the close alternative. Other strikers like Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo-Muani and Atalanta youngster, Rasmus Hojlund are targets for the Red Devils.
Benfica striker, Goncalo Ramos is also on their radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
