Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim may be missing up to 11 players for their Europa League match against Real Sociedad on Thursday night due to an ongoing injury crisis.
The team was defeated on penalties by Fulham in the FA Cup on Sunday and now faces additional fitness issues as they prepare for one of their most important games of the season.
The Europa League is their only remaining competition and main chance of securing Champions League qualification.
United were already without nine players after their loss to Fulham, including Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez, Toby Collyer, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, and Amad Diallo.

They may now face two more penalties after defender Harry Maguire was forced off during the fifth-round defeat. He is a concern ahead of their trip to San Sebastian, and Amorim must monitor his progress. Reported By Mirror.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old striker Chido Obi-Martin, who impressed when he came on against Marco Silva’s side over the weekend, will be unavailable because he was not included on the Europa League squad list submitted last month.
Amorim said Maguire would be questionable before Thursday’s crucial game and admitted his team was in a “tough spot,” but promised to name a “competitive team.”
“We’ll see,” Amorim said. “I have to see how is ‘H’ – Harry Maguire. We will see. It’s a tough moment in that aspect. It will be a competitive team on Thursday.”
