The Manchester club will have a busy year in 2025 since it will be the first transfer window after Ruben Amorim joined the team at Old Trafford.

It is said that the Portuguese coach, who took Erik ten Hag’s position at Manchester United last month, wants to bolster his team with a striker before the 2025–2026 season begins.

Given his connection to the 39-year-old coach, Sporting CP’s Vicktor Gyokeres is one name being mentioned by the Premier League powerhouses, but there are other possibilities.

Football Insider claims that the Manchester club is also considering Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen, while the Red Devils have also added Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus to their list.

According to the source, Vlahovic is also a possibility for Arsenal, while Man United is keeping an eye on the 24-year-old’s status at the Serie A team since his contract is slated to expire in 2026.

The fact that Man United is looking for a new number nine underscores how poorly they have recruited players over the past two summers after adding Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund to their roster, reports Caught Offside.

It appears that Amorim is not interested in the former Bologna star, who has been a huge failure at Old Trafford.

According to a recent source, Juventus is interested in Zirkzee, which might work in United’s favor since a possible swap deal could be approaching.
