Man United Fan Luke Littler Is BOOED In Liverpool Before Blowing 4-0 Lead Against Michael Van Gerwen

Luke Littler was booed by the Liverpool crowd after losing to Michael van Gerwen on Thursday night.

Littler, who was born in Warrington, is a huge Manchester United supporter and was even serenaded at Old Trafford following his heroics at the World Darts Championship in January, where he became the youngest world champion in history.

Victory over Van Gerwen capped the 18-year-old’s remarkable achievement at the start of the year.

However, on night 12 of the Premier League darts at M&S Bank Arena, Littler painfully blew a 4-0 lead against his Dutch opponent.

Littler aimed for a record-breaking sixth nighttime win of the season, but the quarter-final match ended 6-5 at a site where he won last year. Reported By Daily Mail.

The defending champion remains top of the Premier League leaderboard, followed by Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price, who both cut the distance on Littler on Thursday.

Price defeated Humphries 6-4 in the final, bringing him up to third place in the standings.

The former dominated the final, throwing a 104.43 average and hitting three 180s.

‘I was under pressure to win the first game and put points on the board,’ Price explained. ‘It was a fantastic match. I am pleased with this one. I am doing exceptionally well.

‘Every week is important for points, and I wanted to score five today to relieve some of the strain. When there is no pressure on me, I can throw some good darts.

‘I am in some terrific form, and if I keep playing like this and pushing.

Meanwhile, Liverpool could wrap up the Premier League title this Sunday if Arne Slot’s side are victorious over Tottenham at Anfield.
