Man United Hold Double Manager Talks Amid Ten Hag Uncertainty

Manchester United have reportedly held talks with the representatives of both Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank as a decision is imminent over the future of Erik ten Hag at the Old Trafford club.

Since United finished eighth in the Premier League after losing 14 games, they had their worst top-flight finish in 34 years. This has led to much speculation about Ten Hag’s position for several months.

However, the thrilling way in which they upset champions and rivals Manchester City 2-1 in the FA Cup final, securing a spot in the Europa League for the upcoming season, seems to have raised new questions about the best course of action.

Ten Hag has dealt with numerous injury crises following an outstanding first season in which they made it to Wembley twice, won the Carabao Cup, and finished third in the league.

The 54-year-old’s future will be finally decided by United this week during an end-of-season review, according to Fabrizio Romano. In the event that United decide to part ways with Ten Hag, preliminary talks have already been held with the camps of other managers.

Even though the Blues had a late-season surge that saw them placed sixth in the Premier League.

They are also thought to have reached out to Frank’s team. As the Danish coach is currently in high demand following an exceptional five and a half years in charge at Brentford. Which included promotions to the Premier League and multiple top-half finishes.
