Man United are prepared to offload Brazilian star Fred during the summer transfer window and are seeking to recoup at least £20m ($26m), according to reports.
The midfielder joined Old Trafford in 2018 after leaving Shakhtar Donetsk for £52m ($66m).
A 12-month extension provision in his contract has been triggered until 2024, although United are now open to proposals.
Following the Cottagers’ 2-1 loss at Old Trafford on the last day of the 2022–23 season, Marco Silva was seen having a lengthy post-game conversation with the South American, according to The Telegraph.
Fulham have now reportedly registered interest in Fred.

Meanwhile, Fulham are reluctant to meet United’s asking price for the 30-year-old, and are hopeful that a solution can be found that benefits all sides.
Additional talks are, however, scheduled on the financial terms of a potential deal between the two Premier League rivals.
Fred has previously spoken on his future plans, saying: “I’ll talk to my staff, to the club and see what is everyone’s decision.
“I want to be important, I want to help the team, so we’ll see. But I’ve always been and still am very happy at Manchester United.”
