Man United Legend Pays Incredible Ferguson Tribute To Klopp

Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has praised Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp for his impact at the club and compared him to Sir Alex Ferguson.

With titles in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup, Klopp has elevated the Reds to the status of one of the top teams in England. At the end of the season, he will step down from his position. But in the interim, he is planning another title challenge.

According to The Mirror, following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City, Liverpool are now tied for second place in the top flight with leaders Arsenal only ahead with goal differences. Neville praised Klopp for his ties with the Liverpool community after that match.

What Did Neville Say About Klopp?

“They’re both exceptional managers [Klopp and Pep Guardiola ]. I’ve always swayed more towards Klopp because he’s obviously worked with great resources here. But less resources than Pep Guardiola,” he said on The Gary Neville Podcast.

“His style of play, he’s more towards how I see football. Pep is an absolute and what he’s created at Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and now at Manchester City is unequivocal, it’s incredible.

“But Klopp is a massive personality. A giant of a character and someone who connects not just with his players. That’s pretty obvious, and the staff within the club. But with the city, the language he uses, the tone, with the fans.

“And I think to me that’s what a great manager does. They do more than just play great football.
