The Manchester United legend won an incredible 13 Premier League winners’ medals during his illustrious career at Old Trafford, playing a crucial role in Sir Alex Ferguson’s iconic teams.
In 2021, Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry were the first two players inducted into the Hall of Fame, followed by Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard, Dennis Bergkamp, Steven Gerrard, and David Beckham.
Since then, 22 players have been inducted, but Giggs has missed out each time, reports Give Me Sport.
In a rare interview with his old Man United teammate Rio Ferdinand, Giggs has now publicly discussed his exclusion from the Hall of Fame.
“Are you bothered at all that you’re not in the Premier League Hall of Fame?” Ferdinand questioned Giggs.
Giggs responds: “Not really. No, I mean, I don’t think about it until you just brought it up. I don’t think about it.
These are the things that you’re not striving for. You’re striving off to win games and try and win trophies. That’s the most important thing for me.
