Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel is reportedly prepared to move on Liverpool and Manchester United transfer target, Ryan Gravenberch.
United and Liverpool both have Gravenberch on their wish list as they look to bolster their midfield before the transfer market closes in a week.
After the sales of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, Jurgen Klopp is still short of an option even though Wataru Endo joined from Stuttgart last week.
Throughout the summer, Liverpool have been closely linked to Gravenberch. The 21-year-old made the switch to Bayern from Ajax last summer.
But his first campaign with the Bundesliga’s juggernauts was limited to a supporting role. In addition, he didn’t play in either of their first two games of the season.
According to The Athletic, Tuchel has signaled that he’ll permit Gravenberch to leave. This is because he wants to replace him with a new holding midfielder of his own.
However, it’s been reported that the Bayern management favors retaining Gravenberch. And does not believe Tuchel needs a new player in the Allianz Arena engine room.
In an effort to restart his career after a trying year, Gravenberch is apparently willing to leave Bayern after just one season. In the 2022–2023 season, he only made a total of three starts for the German champions.

Earlier this week, The Daily Mail claimed that Liverpool are in the lead in the competition to sign Gravenberch. While Manchester United are ‘in the background’.
However, the Red Devils are reportedly working on a loan agreement, which ‘seems implausible at this stage with Bayern wanting to recoup funds’.
