Man United Make Shock Move For Premier League Midfielder

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a shock move for Burnley midfielder, Sander Berge.

After being ‘unwilling’ to pay Paris Saint-Germain the substantial £51 million asking price for Uruguayan star Manuel Ugarte, United are said to be considering a number of fresh midfield possibilities.

Although Erik ten Hag’s side are eager to spend money on new full-backs. The Red Devils are also trying to expand their alternatives in the midfield because Scott McTominay’s future at Old Trafford is unknown.

Several reports have stated that Fulham are eager to sign the Scottish player and have put in a bid of £23 million. Last summer, West Ham made an offer of £30 million for the 27-year-old.

In addition to signing Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro this summer, Man United now appear to be interested in one Premier League midfield player.

Sander Berge of Burnley is reportedly the unexpected player on the Premier League giants’ radar. According to The Athletic as reported by Daily Mail, the club representatives have ‘made contact with the 26-year-old’s camp.’

The report further claimed that Berge, who joined Burnley from Sheffield United about a year ago, may be ready to leave.
