Manchester United are reportedly unwilling to pay more than £60 million for Atalanta hot-shot, Rasmus Hojlund in this transfer window.
The Red Devils are operating on a tight financial budget in this summer window. With a reported £120 million transfer kitty, it is unlikely the club can sign Hojlund without selling players to fund the transfer.
According to the Telegraph, the Manchester club already have a set price in mind for the player. The 20-year-old Danish striker, who was once estimated at an absurd £86 million, is the subject of negotiations between United and the Italian club.
In addition to Hojlund, Erik ten Hag has other targets. And United are adamant that the inexperienced Dane, who has played less than 90 senior club games, is not their only choice.
Randal Kolo Muani, a 24-year-old attacker, is reportedly the subject of concurrent negotiations between United and Eintracht Frankfurt. It’s also believed that Ten Hag has a serious interest in Ajax forward Mohammed Kudus.
As a different sort of attacker from Hojlund and Muani, who are more well-known center-forwards. Kudus is also a subject of interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
It’s interesting that sources claim a new forward doesn’t have to be a pure No. 9, which explains the interest in Kudus.

Old Trafford insiders are sure they will bring in a striker before the transfer window closes on September 1.
However, they acknowledge that given their pressing need for a striker and the new financial regulations in Europe, they will have to pay the appropriate amount. And that they have little room for error.
