Manchester United are hoping to sign Lyon attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki at the end of the season, but they will face competition from Chelsea.
The 21-year-old midfielder has done well this season, with 10 goals and 18 assists in all competitions. He has been terrific for Lyon in Ligue 1, and he has also performed well in Europe. He has been described as a “incredible talent” in the past.
Cherki recently put on an outstanding performance against Manchester United, and it comes as no surprise that the Red Devils are interested in signing him. The French international terrorised Manchester United’s defence with his technical prowess, dribbling, and vision. He also got on the scoreboard.

There is little doubt that he has the technical ability to flourish in the Premier League, and he might be a star for Manchester United if the deal is completed. According to Fichajes, they are willing to offer £20 million to complete the deal. Liverpool are keen.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is ready to make an offer for the 21-year-old as well. Both teams have the funds to pay the £20 million asking price for the brilliant young midfielder, and it remains to be seen where he will finish up. The reported asking price could prove to be a great deal.
Both clubs want a player like him who possesses technical ability, flare, and vision in the final third. He will assist them in breaking through formidable defenses.
