Man United Ready To Sell Zirkzee To Sign £63M Star

Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell Joshua Zirkzee to make room for the signing of Sporting Lisbon forward, Viktor Gyokeres.

In their most recent Premier League match, United lost 2-0 to Newcastle United, suffering yet another defeat under Ruben Amorim.

Although it was an upsetting defeat to accept, one player took the majority of the blame for the Red Devils’ struggles.

Amorim gave Zirkzee a start against the Magpies, but after a terrible performance, he was taken off the field barely over 30 minutes into the match.

His career in England thus far was essentially encapsulated in his appearance of about thirty minutes.

This has been a harsh awakening for the Dutch striker, who had an amazing season at Bologna the previous season. Being jeered by the home fans just six months into his United career would undoubtedly have a negative impact on him

According to Tutto Juve, Manchester United are prepared to part ways with Zirkzee as early as this January transfer window in order to free up finances and space for the recruitment of Gyokeres, who has previously played for Amorim.

Although it might not be fair to evaluate a player just six months into his new club, Zirkzee, who was purchased for about £36.5 million back in the summer, has not hit the ground running.

Gyokeres is anticipated to cost the Red Devils or any other interested club around £63 million. And given his prior experience playing in England and under Ruben Amorim, he should have no trouble adjusting.
