Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to watch Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Turkish outfit defeated Rizespor 2-1 on Monday night, thanks to two goals from Osimhen, increasing their lead at the top of the table to six points.
This summer, United want to boost their attacking options, and they believe the 26-year-old might help them get back on track.
However, given Osimhen’s salary demands and desire to play in the UEFA Champions League, their attempts to recruit him may not be easy.

Osimhen, whose weekly salary is £200,000, is one of a few strikers available this summer, and Napoli are looking to sell the Nigerian star.
According to reports, Osimhen is also being watched by Paris Saint-Germain, as Randal Kolo Muani is most likely leaving the French champions on a permanent deal this summer.
After the two led Napoli to the Serie A championship in 2023, PSG may try to bring Osimhen and his previous partner-in-crime Khvicha Kvaratskhelia back together.
However, Osimhen has already played in Ligue 1 with Lille and has expressed a wish to play in England, so he might decide to try a different league.
“Future in the Premier League? Of course I would like to play it one day, for now I have other plans for my career. When the time comes you will know everything,” Osimhen said last year.
According to talkSPORT, United’s choice to send scouts to observe the Nigeria international in action indicates that they believe they can negotiate a deal with both Napoli and the player.
