He’s already shown he’s a quick learner on the pitch – and Marcus Rashford is looking to continue it off it too.
The Manchester United youngster was straight back in class 24 hours after scoring twice in the club’s demolition of Arsenal on Sunday.
Rashford arrived in an Audi A3 wearing his Manchester United coat.
He’s believed to be completing his A-levels this summer.
Rashford scored twice on his Manchester United debut against FC Midtylland, and twice in his home debut on Sunday.
And his boss Louis van Gaal has warned teen sensation the pressure on him is going to increase after his goal-scoring heroics.
The 18-year-old striker is set for his third start in a row at home to Watford on Wednesday, with Van Gaal warning him of the huge expectations now resting on his young shoulders.
“Now the pressure shall rise for him, because all of the people shall look at him in another way,” said the United manager.
“After four goals, the fans are expecting the fifth goal. But he has certain qualities. He can score in his way and that’s because he sniffs the situation in advance of other players.”
Despite the huge focus on Rashford following his sudden rise to stardom, Van Gaal said the Manchester-born youngster will not let his new-found success go to his head.
“He’s a very modest guy, so I don’t think that will be a problem,” said the Dutchman. “But when you have so much attention from the media it can go another way. But I believe he shall keep his feet on the ground.”
