AC Milan goalkeeper, Mike Maignan has reportedly been put on a diet following Sergio Conceicao’s comment on him being too overweight.
Milan head coach, Conceicao, is reportedly “trying everything” to get the Serie A giants “out of this moment of crisis,” according to a report from Italy.
According to Football 365, Conceicao has “decided to put players on a diet” after some weight problems were found, with “overweight” Maignan being “especially targeted” and “under special observation.”
In recent years, Maignan has been strongly linked to a move to the Premier League, and as Manchester United look to replace Andre Onana, who has been under fire, he has become a possible target.

A number of possible successors have previously been linked to United. According to a source earlier this week, as INEOS get ready for an ‘overhaul,’ Maignan has emerged as their primary target.
Onana, 28, overcame difficulties to make an impression for United in his first season, but this campaign, he has performed below par since he has been prone to making blunders at crucial times.
The Red Devils, who are currently in 14th place in the Premier League standings, need to add players in a number of areas this summer or risk losing out on Europe for the upcoming campaign.
Although adding a new striker is anticipated to be Man United’s top priority, they could use some upgrades across positions on the pitch, and Onana’s poor display may lead them to look for a new goalkeeper.
