Manchester United are reportedly ready to sell forward Anthony Martial after losing patience with the player, who has been with the club since 2015.
The 27-year-old played 57 minutes of United’s 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday, but raised eyebrows when he walked down the tunnel after being substituted by Wout Weghorst.
After falling out of favor and being loaned out to La Liga club Sevilla for the second half of the 2021-22 season, the Frenchman has been given a chance this season by current manager Erik ten Hag, appearing 19 times in the Premier League.
According to The Sun, Manchester United’s leadership wants Martial to leave the club at the end of the season, which Ten Hag is reported to agree with.
As per the report, the Red Devils will consider any bids for the former Monaco man as they want to replace Martial with a forward who can give significant goal support for Marcus Rashford.
Martial joined Manchester United from Monaco for £36 million in 2015, a record sum for a teenager at the time.
With add-ons, the fee might have reached £58 million.
He had a terrific first season, scoring 17 goals, and he scored a career-high 23 goals in 2019-20.

However, he has only scored 16 goals in the last three seasons and is frequently in and out of the medical room.
Nevertheless, it remains to be known where Martial will end up at the start of next season, given his stock has plummeted as a result of his underwhelming performances in recent years.
United have two games to win the point they need to ensure Champions League participation for next season, with the first coming on Thursday night when Chelsea visits Old Trafford.
