Manchester United are set to seal the signing of Slovakia starlet, Samuel Lusale.
Lusale signed with the Eagles three years ago and is currently under contract at Selhurst Park. The 16-year-old made enough of an impression with Palace’s Under-18 team and was called up for the Under-17 Euros in May.
Despite Slovakia finishing last in their group, he participated in all three of their group matches in the tournament. Lusale primarily competed for Palace in the Under-18 Premier League, where he helped the team place sixth in the South Division.
United are making a lot of effort to get him to Old Trafford after seeing how well he has performed. The Jay-Z-founded talent group Roc Nation already represents the teenager.
According to MEN as reported by The Mirror, United are ‘close’ to adding Lusale in their youth team. Brexit restrictions limit English teams’ ability to recruit at the academy level by preventing them from signing players under the age of 18 from foreign clubs.
If United manage to finalize the acquisition of Lusale, it seems like they will have a future star on their hands.
Roc Nation’s Global director of football recruitment, Nathan Campbell spoke about Lusale’s talent.

“Samuel is a very exciting attacking player who has an abundance of ability.
“He’s a late developer, having come into the academy system at a later age. But it’s so exciting to contemplate the incredible heights he can reach as he matures both physically and technically.”
