Erik ten Hag dreams of being a big-money striker at Manchester United, but PSG is trying to derail his goals.
Erik ten Hag has pinpointed his dream strike-force ahead of his second season as Manchester United manager. But it could depend on Marcus Rashford’s future at Old Trafford as PSG circle in anticipation of his 2024 contract expiry.
It’s currently one of football’s worst-kept secrets. This summer, Ten Hag is anxious to acquire a proven striker to his club.
And, according to reports, Harry Kane remains his top priority as he enters the final year of his Tottenham Hotspur contract.
According to The Telegraph, despite being 29 and in a fragile contract situation, Kane would cost United roughly £100 million.
However, the Red Devils are still investigating the possibility of signing Kane, which would reunite him with England teammate Rashford.
The 25-year-old, who is valued at £70 million on transfermarkt, might play the Son Heung-min position in a pairing with so much potential that Ten Hag describes it as a dream.

According to the source, United are making good progress on signing Rashford to a new deal at Old Trafford.
His value has risen dramatically this season, with 29 goals under Ten Hag as part of a career-high campaign.
He added three goals to that total for England at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and discussions over committing his future to United are said to be headed in the right direction.
However, PSG are credited as one of several clubs monitoring Rashford’s situation as they eye a potential free transfer at the end of next season.
