According to head coach Ruben Amorim, Manchester United has “more problems than solutions” at the moment.

With Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Tottenham, the Red Devils have now lost 12 of their 25 Premier League games this season.

They are going to Everton on Saturday (kick-off 12:30 GMT), having only won four of their last 14 league games since Amorim took over in November.

The Toffees have been revitalized since David Moyes, who succeeded Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager, took over.

United’s problems at both ends of the field, keeping only seven clean sheets at the back and scoring just 28 goals up front—have received a lot of attention, reports BBC.

“What I feel is that sometimes you don’t feel improvement in the team but some games you think we can play and create situations,” Amorim told BBC Sport when asked what is working for his team right now. That’s a positive thing.

“In this moment when you watch the games, you see more problems than solutions. That is clear. When we play some games, I see things are there and we are capable but we have to be consistent.”
