Rasmus Hojlund feels fit, fortunate, and fired up after Manchester United’s win over Brentford on Saturday, as he continues to put an injury-plagued start to the season behind him.
Despite showing promise in a stop-start debut season with the team he supports, the 21-year-old’s aspirations of striking the ground running this season were crushed in his first preseason outing.
Hojlund walked off immediately after scoring in a July friendly against Arsenal in Los Angeles, and his hamstring injury sidelined the United striker for over two months. Reported on Twitter.

The Denmark international scored his first Premier League goal since returning to health in Saturday’s 2-1 comeback victory over Brentford and is determined to keep going.
“The injury has been annoying and it was an annoying time to get it, but obviously I feel great now and feel ready to move on,” says Hojlund.
“I tried to focus on the fact that I am really fortunate to be a professional footballer.
“Obviously, there are drawbacks and benefits, and we receive criticism, but we also have moments when we are superstars, but overall, I am living the dream every day.
“I play for Manchester United, and I wear number nine on my back. It is a good existence.
“I simply tried to focus on that portion, and then I could focus on everything else, trying to get fitter for when I return, and improving my recovery. I think I’m in a good situation right now.”
“Obviously every time you win and the forwards score goals, it gives a lot of confidence to the team,” Hojlund pointed out.
“But, in the end, it’s about winning, and I believe that’s what we should focus on. I’m quite thrilled with the three points.”
