Erik ten Hag is being treated with disrespect by Manchester United, according to Alan Shearer, who has blasted the team. Reported On Daily star.
Ten Hag’s tenure as manager will remain unchanged at United after an evaluation of his play in the previous campaign. However, before deciding on Ten Hag’s future, co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS associates kept him in the dark for nearly two weeks.

Before taking off for Ibiza to assure the Dutchman that his position was secure while he was on vacation with his family, Ratcliffe also discussed replacing Ten Hag with Thomas Tuchel. Shearer, an England icon, believes that Ten Hag has been handled disrespectfully and undermined by United.
“It’s just a bizarre situation, it’s not how things should be done in football. If you are going to speak to other managers then speak to them, but keep it in house. You can’t let the public know.
“To be undermined like he has done, I know they’re now saying that he has their support and they want him to carry on, but from a personal and human point of view it’s not the right way to treat someone.
“Probably not because of the way they have treated him. It was meant to be all new at Old Trafford with the very best coming in, I don’t think they’ve got off to a good start.”
