Barcelona has made the decision to sell at least two center backs in order to raise money since they need to close some significant deals in the summer.
As it stands, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Chris Jules Kounde,tensen, Inigo Martinez, and Pau Cubarsi make up the Blaugrana’s five center defenders. In addition, Eric Garcia and Clement Lenglet will be coming back from their loan terms.
In addition, the Catalans are thinking about using the buyback clause to re-sign Chadi Riad from Real Betis.

Lenglet and Garcia will undoubtedly leave again, preferably on permanent deals, but Barcelona may decide to pursue more transfers as additional funding would be required. It has been previously reported that either Christensen or Kounde might become a sacrifice.
Chelsea and Manchester United are interested
According SPORT reports that Jules Kounde has no shortage of suitors with two giants from the Premier League, Chelsea and Manchester United, very interested in his services.
The 25-year-old’s performances at right-back have improved recently, although he has not played regularly enough this season.
Chelsea, who reportedly scouted Kounde during a game last month, are interested in signing him again after their failed attempt to sign him before he joined Barcelona in 2022.
In the meantime, with Kounde clearly developing as a substitute for his compatriot Raphael Varane, Manchester United is seeking for defensive reinforcements in the summer.
It may be much simpler for Barcelona if the former Sevilla defender, whose current market value is estimated at €60 million, is open to bids.
Come summer, a lot of action is anticipated at the club; it will be interesting to see if Kounde’s departure is part of that activity.
