Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is reportedly looking for a new striker before the club begin their pre-season tour of the United States in July.
The 20-time English champions will prioritize the signing of a new centre-forward in the next market, with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen seen as the club’s top targets.
According to ESPN, Ten Hag intends to complete the majority of his transfer business, including the signing of a big-name striker, before the start of the pre-season tour in July.
Anthony Martial began the 2022-23 season as the team’s first-choice forward, but the Frenchman has been plagued by injuries throughout the season.
The 27-year-old has only made 14 appearances in all competitions due to a hip injury that has recently rendered him unavailable for selection.
Marcus Rashford has been in superb form this season, scoring 27 goals in all competitions, while on-loan attacker Wout Weghorst has only scored twice since his January arrival.

Kane’s future at Tottenham is once again being questioned, with the England captain reportedly considering a transfer away from the North London club this summer.
The 29-year-old has been in excellent form this season, scoring 23 goals and registering four assists in 39 games for Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Manchester United are unlikely to be able to convince Spurs to sell to a domestic opponent.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has 25 goals and five assists in 29 appearances this season, and he has been extensively linked with a move to Manchester.
Any deal for the 24-year-old is estimated to cost around £100m, and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United are willing to pay that price for the Nigeria international.
