Manchester United have confirmed that Marcus Rashford will ‘unavailable for a few games’ with the injury that he suffered against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
All through 2022-23 season, the 25-year-old has been in incredible form for the Red Devils, scoring 28 goals and providing 10 assists.
However, Rashford will be unable to make his 48th club appearance of the season against Sevilla on Thursday due to the injury he suffered against Everton.
The England international limped off in the closing moments of his team’s 2-0 win after assisting Anthony Martial to double the lead for Erik ten Hag’s side.
Ten Hag expressed concern about the situation after the game against the Toffees.
There had been speculation that Rashford would be out for the rest of the season, with his groin being the reason for concern.
Man United have already issued a statement stating that the attacker will miss Thursday’s European match against Sevilla.
The Red Devils have confirmed that Rashford will be out ‘for a few games,’ but he is expected to return for ‘the season run-in,’ which will be a major boost for the team, who are still competing in three competitions.

Rashford will also miss Man United’s Premier League match against Nottingham Forest on Sunday, as well as the second leg of their Europa League match with Sevilla next week.
The statement also suggests that the team’s top scorer will be absent for the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton & Hove Albion on April 23.
However, Martial has made a timely recovery to fitness following a hip injury, and the Frenchman might now be named to the starting XI for Thursday’s game against Sevilla.
