Manchester United won’t beat Fenerbahce in Europa League – Ex-Liverpool star

Steve Nicol believes that Manchester United will draw this evening’s game with Fenerbahce as they will be looking ahead to their Premier League game at Swansea City on Sunday.

The Red Devils are currently second in their Europa League group, level on points with Feyenoord who face the bottom club in the table, Zorya.

The former Liverpool player delivered his verdict on ESPN, saying: “There’s no question that Manchester United are gonna rest some players for the Premier League weekend. Fenerbahce – their fans love European competition. They haven’t got enough to win this game so I’m gonna go for a draw.”
United have struggled this season which hasn’t been helped by Manchester City’s impressive performances under Guardiola, domestically and in Europe.

Star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic hasn’t scored in six games and they are already eight points behind their local rivals who are currently the Premier League leaders.

On Sunday, Jose Mourinho’s men travel to the Liberty stadium knowing that a win is the minimum they should be getting against a team that is 19th and five points from safety.
