Manchester United could announce a deal to sign Bologna attacker Joshua Zirkzee as early as today.
United have agreed on a fee with the Serie A club for the Dutch international, who is set to become their first signing of the summer. He will have a medical today.
Zirkzee’s Bologna contract included a €40 million (£34 million) release clause, but United agreed to pay €42.5 million over three years. If they had chosen to use the release clause, they would have had to pay in full.

Last week, the Manchester Evening News reported that the amount could increase significantly due to agent expenses. According to sources in Italy, United might pay up to £13 million in commission to complete the transaction.
