After being sidelined due to injury, Marcel Sabitzer has rejoined the Man United squad in training.
United are lacking in the midfield department, due to Casemiro’s impending four-game suspension after receiving a red card against Southampton at the weekend.
Nonetheless, the Brazilian can participate in the Europa League when United plays Real Betis on Thursday in the second leg of their round of 16 matchup. A game where United enters with a 4-1 advantage.
Casemiro will begin his domestic ban this weekend when United host Fulham in the FA Cup.
He’ll be unavailable until April 15 with an international break to take place following this weekend’s games.
Sabitzer missed the first leg and the draw with Southampton but was spotted at Carrington on Wednesday morning before the squad fly to Spain.
Bruno Fernandes played a deeper midfield role at St Mary’s before Casemiro was sent off, with Scott McTominay coming on for Wout Weghorst following the red to shore up the midfield.

Fred has regularly played next to Casemiro in the United midfield, but it’s unclear what personnel Erik ten Hag will go for while his star man it out.
Antony, meanwhile, has struggled for consistency in his first season as a United player following his Ā£82million move from Ajax.
It’s unclear if he has picked up another injury but was substituted against Southampton and was seemingly not present in training on Wednesday.
