Manchester United’s ownership situation will reportedly have no effect on the club’s efforts to sign Marcus Rashford to a new long-term contract.
There is currently a lot of speculation over the Red Devils’ future, with the Glazers believed to be in talks with interested parties about selling the club.
Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe are among those who have made bids for the 20-time English champions.
According to The Athletic, the uncertainty surrounding Man United’s ownership will not affect the club’s contract talks with Rashford.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form for the Red Devils this season, scoring 24 goals and contributing nine assists in 36 games across all competitions.
Rashford has 14 goals and three assists in 24 Premier League appearances this season, as well as 10 goals and six assists in 12 Europa League, EFL Cup, and FA Cup matches.
