Maresca In Direct Contact With Representatives Of Real Madrid Target

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca is reportedly in contact with the camp of Bournemouth defender, Dean Huijsen as the Blues seek to beat Real Madrid to the Spaniard’s signing.

Last summer, the 19-year-old moved from Juventus to Bournemouth, and Andoni Iraola, the manager of the Cherries, was able to bring out the best in him.

He made his debut for Spain last week thanks to his performances for Bournemouth. Despite having a contract through 2030, the Premier League team reportedly believe the center-back won’t be with them for very long.

Since Chelsea, Real Madrid, and other teams have already contacted Bournemouth, managing director Tiago Pinto now intends to sell him to the highest bidder.

According to reports, Huijsen has a €50 million release clause which is a fee  his suitors can exploit rather than engage in a transfer fee bidding war.

José Ángel Sánchez, the director of Real Madrid, is working behind the scenes to get to his camp. Los Blancos  feel the defender chose Spain over the Netherlands because he wants to join them.

According to Sport Witness, Chelsea, one of the most interested clubs, will compete with Madrid. The west London club appear to be pursuing a transfer with Maresca in the forefront.

Maresca, who had a stint at Málaga CF where the Bournemouth player attended the team’s academy from 2015 to 2021 is believed to be very interested in the Spanish youngster.

The report stated that the coaches and scouts of Huijsen’s youth team are “well acquainted” with the Blues manager. The piece goes on to say that for years, the Italian has maintained direct communication with the defender’s entourage.
