Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has indicated that Marc Guiu will need to exercise patience for more game time in the Premier League.
The Blues signed the highly touted prospect from Barcelona in the summer by taking advantage of a release clause worth around £5 million.
The 18-year-old has largely gained more minutes of action in the UEFA Conference League, even though he came off the bench against Manchester City in the first week of the season.
Guiu became the tournament’s top scorer on Thursday night, scoring a hat-trick in a 5-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers to bring his total to six goals.

According to Sports Mole, speaking to reporters at a post-game press conference, Maresca did, however, imply that the prospect will continue to be on the team’s fringes.
The Italian boss said: “With Marc the problem is that sometimes we forget the age. He’s the same age as Joshua Acheampong, Ty [George].
“He already scored five six goals in this competition, and since we started he’s working well, he’s taking his chance, and he knows that with Nicolas [Jackson] there, with Christo [Nkunku] there, it’s not easy for him.
“But it’s important that he continues to work in the right way.”
Chelsea are set to make a trip down to Goodison Park to play Everton as they aim to continue their impressive winning streak which has placed them second in the Premier League standings behind Liverpool.
