Marseille are reportedly rivalling Nottingham Forest for Borussia Dortmund attacker, Giovanni Reyna.
With respect to a loan transfer for the American international, Forest have been in negotiations with the German giants.
The Premier League club are eager to include in the deal an option to sign the 21-year-old permanently.
Reyna signed with super agent Jorge Mendes in December. And his Dortmund contract expires in June 2025.
According to Daily Mail, the Bundesliga outfit and Marseille have started negotiating a contract for Reyna, who has struggled to get playing time at the club this season.
Reyna has made just two starts for Dortmund this season. The other 11 have come off the bench.
In 12 appearances this season across all competitions, he has failed to record a goal or an assist.
At the age of 17, the midfielder became the youngest American to make their Bundesliga debut.

Additionally, Forest’s Nuno Tavares is still a target for Marseille.
Arsenal, who desire to sell the full-back, are loaning him out, but Forest must approve to the deal for it to pull through.
