Mason Greenwood visited the Manchester United training facility briefly on Monday for the first time in more than two years. As he discussed his impending departure from the team, the forward was with his father.
Nevertheless, Greenwood did not participate in the remainder of the first team’s first preseason training session since United has received bids for the attacker from teams like Lazio and Marseille.

Recent events suggest that United and Marseille are in advanced negotiations, and discussions with Greenwood about his future in football have been fruitful.
Greenwood met briefly with important individuals in Carrington’s football administration. The 22-year-old’s contract is set to expire the following year.
The last time Greenwood visited Carrington was in January of 2022, reports Liverpool News Website.
On January 22, 2022, Greenwood’s final match wearing a United shirt ended in a 1-0 victory over West Ham United. After that, he scored just one goal for Getafe in 36 appearances.
United and Marseille are in advanced negotiations for the signing of Greenwood.
Valencia and other European teams are rumored to have made proposals as well but it’s unknown at this point if those sums even remotely match United’s asking price for the attacker.
