Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe is reportedly set to bank £128 million signing-on fee after tax if he switches to Real Madrid.
Mbappe has informed PSG that he will sign with Madrid as a free agent after his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
According to the Evening Standard, despite taking a significant pay cut from his PSG contract, the 25-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract worth £12.8 million a season. Which will make him the highest-paid player in the Spanish capital.
At PSG, Mbappe currently makes £21.4 million annually.
Unlike Real, where image rights are normally split 50/50, he will keep 80% of them.
Mbappe will wear midfielder Luka Modric’s No. 10 shirt if he decides to leave Real this summer.
Jude Bellingham, an England international, will move into a deeper midfield position so that Mbappe and Brazilian winger, Vinicius Junior can thrive together in attack.

Mbappe’s departure won’t be made public until PSG will no longer compete with Real Madrid in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
Mbappe was left out of PSG’s starting lineup for their game against Nantes on Saturday. But he scored a penalty off the bench as they moved 14 points clear atop Ligue 1.
