Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe reportedly left a post-match interview when asked if he would be supporting Real Madrid in their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie against Bayern Munich.
Borussia Dortmund crushed the Frenchman’s hopes on Tuesday night to end his seven-year tenure at Paris Saint-Germain without a European trophy.
The French club were trailing 1-0 thanks to a goal from Niclas Fullkrug in the first leg. The Parisians were defeated 2-0 on aggregate, even though they had 70% of the ball and 30 attempts on Dortmund’s goal.
Mbappe is yet to win the top trophy in club football and was heartbroken to lose to Dortmund once more. Tuesday’s second leg was decided by a goal from Mats Hummels, setting up a thrilling Wembley final involving either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
Mbappe has already decided to sign with Real Madrid this summer as his contract is coming to an end. But the teams haven’t made an official announcement until the end of the current campaign.
According to the Daily Express, when PSG lost in the Champions League semifinal, Mbappe was questioned about whether he would be cheering Los Blancos throughout the competition. However, the 25-year-old rolled his eyes, not looking very happy and stormed off.

Given his nearly unmatched background in big games, many predicted that Mbappe would take control of Tuesday’s matchup.
With 255 goals, the lightning-fast forward is PSG’s all-time record scorer. He also scored a hat-trick in France’s 2022 World Cup final defeat to Argentina.
