Superstar Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain may reveal his anticipated move to Real Madrid in the near future, according to SPORT, which cited unnamed sources.
As previously reported by The Athletic, the Frenchman informed his current employers that he will not be renewing his contract after it expires on June 30.
Following a first leg loss in the Parc des Princes, Madrid trails fierce rivals FC Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate. Should Luis Enrique’s team lose to the Catalans in the Montjuic Stadium on Tuesday, they might be eliminated from the Champions League.

With a game remaining against Brest in second place and a 10-point lead at the top of Ligue 1, PSG essentially has the French championship secured. Should it again be eliminated early on the continent, it won’t have much left to play for.
According to SPORT, Mbappe would feel “free” to reveal his next course of action, enabling him to conclude the season “calmly and also focus on the Euros” with France.
The Catalan newspaper also reports that negotiations between Mbappe and Real Madrid are complete, and an official announcement is the only thing standing between the 25-year-old and the public recognition as president Florentino Perez’s second Galactico.
The two clubs drew 3-3 in the first leg of their quarterfinal match at the Bernabeu, but Los Blancos fell 4-0 at the Etihad in the previous year’s last four, so they may not be optimistic about their chances this week in the English stadium.
Regardless, it appears that Mbappe is at last assuaging concerns and revealing his news will be done sooner rather than later.
