Mendes Pushing For Felix Move To Milan

Jorge Mendes has reportedly met with Chelsea directors as he pushes for Joao Felix to make the move away from Stamford Bridge to AC Milan before the January transfer window closes.

According to Football Italia, Mendes, who is the versatile Portuguese striker’s agent, is attempting to persuade the Blues to move him to San Siro for an affordable transfer fee in hopes that he would become Milan’s third January acquisition.

Gazzetta claims that Milan will not cover Joao Felix’s full wage through the end of the season, in addition to a six-month loan fee.

However, Chelsea are unwilling to let Joao Felix go for nothing, therefore Mendes is looking for a solution that will work for both teams.

Felix was sought after by a number of teams, including Aston Villa, but Unai Emery’s team is no longer in the running for the former Atletico Madrid player due to Marcus Rashford’s transfer to Villa Park.

With Eli Junior Kroupi, Alejandro Garnacho, and Mathys Tel on their radar, Chelsea are trying to add an attacking depth on the deadline day. Joao Felix might be permitted to join Milan if one of them moves to Stamford Bridge today.

At the same time, the Rossoneri intend to sell Noah Okafor, who is not a part of Sergio Conceiçao’s ambitions, in order to make way for the Portuguese.

In Italy, the January transfer window closes at midnight local time (23:00 GMT) today.
